Anna Mastryukova is currently in her second and final year of the Master’s of Science in Social Work from the School of Social Work at The University of Texas at Austin. She previously interned Travis County Health and Human Services, providing mental health, eviction prevention, and basic needs resources. In her role as Graduate Research Assistant, Anna is a part of the Institute for Military and Veteran Family Wellness where she focused on peer support among Military and Veteran spouse communities. She also supports Housing and Housing Insecurity research, Global-focused research, and actively works to elminate barriers to intra-institution collaboration at the Moritz Center of Societal Impact.
Prior to beginning her pivot into social work, Anna worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company, and in various Strategic Operations roles at Papier, Resilience Lab and Walmart Marketplace. Anna received her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Georgetown University and her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Columbia University. She loves talking about career changes and transferring skills from her experience in the business world to mental health and therapy.
