Ella Irwin

Ella Irwin is a graduate from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies with an emphasis on political communications and a minor in Journalism and Media Studies. As an undergraduate, Ella served as a research assistant at the Center for Media Engagement, publishing case studies on modern ethical issues in the field of communications. She also worked in the philanthropy department at Roc Nation in New York City, where she supported various charitable projects designed to enhance engagement between artists and communities. Most recently, she interned at the YMCA of the Rockies, collaborating with donors and members to further the organization’s mission and impact. In her free time, Ella enjoys practicing yoga, hiking around Town Lake, and cheering on the Longhorns at UT football games. Ella is excited to join the Moritz Center for Societal Impact and looks forward to working with the team to create tangible, significant solutions to better our community.
