Kate is currently a student at the Steve Hicks School of Social Work where she is pursuing her Master of Science in Social Work. She possesses a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder, where she double majored in integrative physiology and psychology. Prior to coming to UT Austin, Kate worked in direct client care in a psychiatric inpatient setting and has been involved in research focusing on various processes and outcomes of therapy.
Kate is working as a Graduate Research Assistant with the Moritz Center for Societal Impact where she is currently assisting with a project focused on family homelessness.
