This randomized controlled trial (RCT) evaluates a structured, low-cost intervention designed to improve parental mental health and child development outcomes in high-poverty areas of Mexico. The program provides targeted parental education sessions focused on stress management, effective child-rearing practices, and mental health strategies. Led by Raissa Fabregas (LBJ School), Manuela Angelucci (UT Austin), and Daniel Bennett (USC) in collaboration with Redes Sociales para el Desarrollo (REDDES), this study aims to generate evidence for a scalable, cost-effective approach to strengthening family resilience in underserved communities.
