Supportive Outcomes through Listening, Validation, and Empowerment (SOLVE)

The Supportive Outcomes through Listening, Validation, and Empowerment (SOLVE) project develops and tests a behavioral health intervention for autistic adults using solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT). Building on pilot research, the study will train therapists, evaluate its impact, and refine the approach for scalability. Led by Sandy Magaña (Ph.D.) and Cynthia Franklin (Ph.D.), with co-investigator Larissa Minner (AA) and in partnership with Greenleaf Neurodiversity Community Center (Easterseals Central Texas), this initiative aims to improve therapy engagement, well-being, and access to strengths-based, cost-effective behavioral health support for autistic adults.
